your right...we arn't better because we listen to the beatles. its just more people are inspired by music of the past and just not music of the now... some just don't like how people brag about other bands and go on about how "oh the beatles suck..." ya know. if they really don't like it they shouldn't listen to it. but that also goes to the people who love the beatles and are trashing other groups on here. thats wrong to. point is if YOU don't like it...YOU dont have to listen to it .

You just proved my point. Just because you listen to the Beatles, doesn't make you a better person. This is what I'm sick and tired of hearing. Love it or hate it, it's true. Loving the Beatles doesn't make you superior or more intelligent than other people on this earth. I agree that the Beatles are very influential and revolutionary, but that doesn't mean you can go around bragging to everybody saying that you're a "better" person just because you listen to them.

I respect their talents and contributions, but I can't stand it when people talk shit about everything that is not related to the Beatles. That just shows how arrogant you are. You can like the Beatles, but don't talk shit about other decent bands out there that are trying their best, the same way how the Beatles tried their best to become what they are.

Look, I give props to these guys, but don't talk shit about current bands and don't think you're superior just because you like music from the 60s.
