A lot of those are very cool, while some look very easy to do that I can probabaly make quickly. My favorite is probabaly revolving circles.

It was my OPINION in the first comment. Thats why I took the time to say "I don't care what everyone else says."

What do you mean by a wrapper around openGL? Does DX actually use openGL commands? Also I thought that dirX is better on ati cards since their drivers are more geared towards drirectX (that's what I find anyways).

Ok, you just stated that "Direct X 10 is no where near better than OPEN GL" and now you're saying "it is a little faster". Not to mention before you didn't even state what was so great about OpenGL. DirectX is a different type of API then OpenGL. Direct3D is the one that can be compared to OpenGL. OpenGL interacts directly with the GPU, Direct3D uses a wrapper instead. The only major thing OpenGL has on Direct3D is that it can be easily Ported to other Operating Systems with little code change.

Just because I don't know how to program it doesn't mean I don't know any better. All direct X has over Open GL is that it is a little faster.

i bet you have never thrown a line of code in your entire life in neither of those 2 frameworks

I don't care what anyone says. Direct X 10 is no where near better than OPEN GL. OPEN GL pwns the hell out of Direct X
