mick thompson used to be a guitar teacher before he joined slipknot he's an amazing guitar player, its just slipknot doesnt require him to play like steve vai but that doesnt mean he cant

Mick Thompson from Slipknot doesn't suck, he's a good guitarist, just cuz someones riffs are simple doesn't mean theys suck. True, his skills are dimmed compared to those of Kirk Hammett, Dimebag Darrell...etc. But he's good enough to be in a multi-platinum band and his carreer is lucrative which is more than u or i could say about our musical talent.
