For that you need Flash, or some other vector drawing program. I sketch the cartoon character on paper first, then scan the sketch into my computer. Load it on one layer, open a new layer, and trace the lines using free-hand draw. Then, by puling the vectors, I can tweak the lines to smooth them out (since tracing with a mouse can be kinda shaky).

Hey Kevin, My hubby loves your stuff because you are "step by step" on your vids. He just wants to know what to do, and how to do it.
